webhookController.podDisruptionBudget
A PodDisruptionBudget limits the number of pods from the Admission Controller Webhook Deployment that
can be voluntarily disrupted at the same time.
This helps keep the webhook available during operations
such as node draining or cluster maintenance.
The following fields could be customized:
minAvailablespecifies the minimum number or percentage of webhook pods that must remain available.maxUnavailablespecifies the maximum number or percentage of webhook pods that can be unavailable.
Only one of minAvailable or maxUnavailable should be configured.
The PodDisruptionBudget is not
created when both values are empty.
The webhook controller must also be enabled with webhookController.enabled: true.
The default values for webhookController.podDisruptionBudget are:
webhookController:
podDisruptionBudget:
minAvailable: ""
maxUnavailable: ""
For example, to ensure that at least one webhook controller pod remains available:
webhookController:
podDisruptionBudget:
minAvailable: 1
Alternatively, a percentage can be used:
webhookController:
podDisruptionBudget:
minAvailable: 50%
To configure the maximum number of unavailable webhook controller pods instead:
webhookController:
podDisruptionBudget:
maxUnavailable: 1
